The heat-reflective system is developed by the U.S military STEALTH program, aiming to disperse heat and therefore reduce the radar signature.

The principles of wood protection are the same: dark surfaces absorb more heat than light surfaces. This is due to the fact that dark colours reflect less of the sun’s energy than light colours. In fact, a black colour reflects only 5% of the sun’s energy. The rest is more or less converted into heat. The heat-reflective technology makes dark colours reflect the sun’s energy in the same way that light colours do - a remarkable attribute for wood protection.
